Musical Theatre Minis (Ages 4–7) | Mondays 4:00–4:45pm

Sing. Move. Pretend. Shine.

Our Musical Theatre Minis class introduces children to the magical world of theatre through playful singing, storytelling, movement, and imaginative games. This class supports early developmental milestones in language, coordination, and social interaction.

Why it works: Research shows that singing and music-based play in early childhood strengthens neural pathways related to speech, memory, and emotional regulation (Gerry et al., 2012; Putkinen et al., 2013). Creative movement improves motor planning and proprioception, while group drama encourages empathy and cooperation.

Benefits:

  • Builds confidence and communication

  • Enhances pitch matching and musical memory

  • Encourages creative thinking and self-expression

  • Develops rhythm, coordination, and teamwork

Pop Choir (Ages 11+ | some 9–10s accepted) | Mondays 4:45–5:45pm

Sing the songs you love, with the skills to back it up.

Our Pop Choir is an energetic group vocal class where young singers explore harmony, vocal technique, and stage presence through chart hits and classic anthems. With opportunities to solo or blend in harmony, students learn the joy of ensemble singing.

Why it works: Singing in groups is proven to elevate mood, reduce stress hormones like cortisol, and foster a strong sense of social connection (Fancourt & Perkins, 2018). This age group is developing vocal independence, and structured group singing supports healthy vocal growth during adolescence.

Benefits:

  • Improves breath control, pitch, and tone

  • Boosts confidence through performance

  • Teaches harmony and ensemble skills

  • Builds peer connection and self-esteem

Musical Theatre Juniors (Ages 7–11) & Seniors (Ages 11–18) | Mondays 5:45–7:15pm

Act, sing, dance – all in one class.

Our flagship Musical Theatre classes combine acting, singing, and dance in a fun, high-energy setting. Students build technical skills across all three disciplines while rehearsing ensemble numbers and performance pieces.

Why it works: Interdisciplinary performing arts training enhances cognitive flexibility, working memory, and emotional intelligence. Singing engages breath support and vocal development, dance supports coordination and fitness, and acting fosters empathy and narrative intelligence.

Benefits:

  • Develops vocal range, stamina, and musicality

  • Improves stagecraft, movement, and expression

  • Encourages critical thinking and collaboration

  • Prepares students for performance opportunities and auditions

  • Pitch Perfect Parents

I’m excited to announce the launch of a Parents and Babies Choir, a welcoming group where parents can bring their little ones and enjoy singing together in a supportive environment. This initiative aims to foster community among parents who may find it challenging to secure childcare, offering a space to connect and share the joy of music. Classes will be held on weekday mornings (TBC). If you’re interested in joining or have any questions, please drop us an email. Let’s come together and create a harmonious space for both parents and babies!
